The PACW is dedicated to restoring the historical buildings and improving our town.
We believe that Wyaconda, MO is a wonderful town rich with interesting history. We believe that the world will benefit from knowing how much the members of the PACW care about this town and it's history.
As you journey through our informational web site, I hope that you too will see the significance of this beautiful town and it's historical value.
The PACW was started by a group of caring individuals who are working toward raising money to help restore the city of Wyaconda. The PACW is an organization who's sole purpose is to raise money for the City of Wyaconda itself.
The First Annual WyaconDays Festival was evolved in an attempt to raise money for the town itself.
The PACW's first mission is to obtain volunteers to help clean up the City of Wyaconda.
Wyaconda has a city Lake and a City Park, both of which have been neglected for several years.
The PACW plans to raise money to clean up the city park and make it so the public can use the shelter. We would also like to be able to fix the play equipment that is left and maybe purchase newer equipment soon.
Thanks to two caring individuals, Gene Knupp and Jimmy Hooper, the Citizens of Wyaconda can now get to the City Lake and possibly fish, the shelter house was found amongst the brush and can now be used for family outings.
Scott Adams has started a ball park committee for the purpose of maintaining the amazing Wyaconda Ball Park. This ballpark was once hailed as the biggest and best of NE Missouri.
Wyaconda, MO has some great history and is a very interesting railroad town.
In a few years the PACW plans on being able to give scholarships and grants to Wyaconda residents for the purpose of restoring or fixing their properties.
The PACW is working hard to let the children of this city enjoy the resources available to them once they are cleaned up and repaired.
