- I'm excited to share with everyone that Gene and I have started to work on the old, what we call, "the cafe building" because the building was previously a cafe.
- Yesterday- we spent a few hours cleaning up some of the things left on the floor, like ceiling tiles, things to that effect. The man who sold us the building did a great job of clearing out everything that he could, so there really wasn't much to pick up. Gene and I (after putting plywood over the holes in the floor) went upstairs to see what needed to be done up there in order to steady the building and to see what we need to replace due to weather/rain damage.
- I love this building so much, we are hoping to be able to make the balcony a little more stable so that we are able to paint the outside and make it look a lot nicer.
- Today-Gene and I replaced the plywood that was covering the front window, or where there used to be a window, with a window that Gene had been given from a demolition job a few years ago. We put the window up and cleaned it as best we could, but the outside was a little difficult due to the Windex freezing.
- The cost of these past two days $0.00 (zero). So that made the window look even better to us.
